Managing Director
Mr. Johnson is a Managing Director within Ares Wealth Management Solutions, which oversees Ares' client management activities in the global wealth channel. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Managing Director, Chief Technology Officer at Black Creek Group, where he oversaw the firm's information technology, digital transformation, data analytics and innovation strategies. Previously, he was Head of Digital Distribution and Innovation at OppenheimerFunds, where he was responsible for digital strategy, advanced analytics, business intelligence, emerging technology and innovation. In addition, Mr. Johnson held a range of client-facing roles at Ivy Funds, GT Global and Franklin Templeton Investments. Mr. Johnson holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
