Principal
Mr. Lee is a Principal within Ares Wealth Management Solutions, which oversees Ares' client management activities in the global wealth channel. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Lee was an Executive Director at JPMorgan Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Lee was the Head of Alternatives Specialist for APAC Wealth at BlackRock, where he led the distribution of alternative products including private credit, private equity, real assets and hedge funds through private wealth channels across Asia Pacific. In addition, Mr. Lee was the Head of Private Credit for the US Wealth Management business at Morgan Stanley in New York, where he was responsible for product origination and distribution of private debt solutions targeting high net worth clients. Mr. Lee began his career as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in London. Mr. Lee holds a B.B.A. from the University of Bath in the UK, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in New York, and an M.Sc. from Fordham University in Quantitative Finance. He is a CFA® charterholder.
